How does The Giving Store work?
There are many families in Australia who have immediate needs that they are unable to meet. The Giving Store and our affiliate organisations work hard to identify those needs daily. You can play a part in making a difference to these families by purchasing a pack through The Giving Store. 100% of your donation will go towards the cost of the items, which we source and distribute directly to those in need through our trusted partner organisations.
What does my donation mean?
100% of your donation goes towards the cost of the items that you have selected. The Giving Store is committed to covering all overhead and distribution costs, ensuring that your full donation goes towards helping families in need.
Why write a note?
We believe that a personal connection is important towards building communities. Writing a note for each recipient families from you means that they know fellow Aussies care.
How can it be guaranteed that The Giving Store will deliver the packs?
Can I donate more than one pack?
Absolutely! You can pick as many packs as you would like.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes. All details of your donation will be in the receipt emailed to you
Can I request or nominate a pack for myself or a family I know?
In order to ensure that 100% of your donation goes towards the cost of goods, we partner with key community organisations and utilise their distribution channels to work directly with families in need in Australia. Because of this, we do not currently offer a “nominate a family” option.
Can I purchase a pack for a specific nominated family?
As above.
Is the pack range always the same?
No. The Giving Store is committed to helping wherever it is needed the most. Because of this, we work closely with our partners organisations to gain an understanding of the greatest need at any given time, and to adapt to the current needs in our communities.
